One such friend called Sue wrote for Mary, who she called 'My Special Lady', a little farewell poem which she titled 'A Little Thought.'

When you're feeling lonely and it's cold, wet and grey,
Wrap my arms around you, make a warm summer's day.

And in the early hours when its very hard to sleep,
Wrap my arms around you instead of counting sheep.

But if the light won't shine through, 'cause all you feel is pain,
Wrap my arms around you, we'll make it right again.

Thinking of you. All my love, Sue.
