Memorial in St. Peter's Church, Sibton, reads: IN LOVING MEMORY OF EGERTON BAGOT BYRD SCRIVENER CAPT. RN, BORN MILFORD HALL STAFFORD 11th FEB. 1857, DIED SIBTON ABBEY 9th JULY 1954 AND OF MABEL HIS WIFE DAUGHTER OF SIR HARRY PARKES KCB GC KG WHO DIED AT OXFORD 8th MAY 1890
Mabel died in a riding accident.
In addition to the two boys shown Mabel had a daughter, Mary Beatrice Leverson Scrivener, born1889 who died March 1965.
