Pamela Maud was born on 1st March 1920 and christened at St. Martin in the Fields on 1st March 1921. Present were the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire, Lady Mary Ryder, the Misses Ryder, The Earl and Countess of Leicester, the Dowager Countess of Dunmore, Mrs Charles Hambro and Miss Joan Cobbold.#468
Our picture shows Pamela's marriage to Lieut. Hope-Johnstone, Grenadier Guards in 1943. The attendants were Philippa and Nicholas Hunloke and Patrick Cobbold #576
She died on 6th September 1994 and her funeral took place at St. Andrew's, Little Glemham on 15th September 1994 with a thanksgiving service held on 21st October 1994 at St. Peter's Church, Stoke Bliss. Worcestershire.
