Educated at Queen's College, London until aged 15 when she went to India and Sydney. Edited "Lady Lytton's Court Diary" (1961). Wrote three volumes on the Ruskins: "Effie in Venice" (1965); "Millais and the Ruskins" (1967) and "The Ruskins and The Grays" (1972). She published an affectionate memoir of her father in 1980 and has also published "To Be Young" describing her experiences in India and Sydney. In the Illustrated London news of January 14th 1961 she was said to have published fourteen novels.
