Formerly of Oaklands, Belstead Rd, Ipswich, his first marriage was childless when his wife died some 12 years after the wedding. His second marriage was to his cousin Caroline Ellen Alice Boutell who died in childbirth. His third marriage was also to a cousin, Caroline Alice Kinder. MI at Westerfield Church, and Brass placque on S wall at St. Mary le Tower, Ipswich. At the time of his second marriage he was living at Beverly Lodge, Colchester. The name Fromanteel comes from A Fromanteel a Dutch clockmaker who settled in London in 1630.

Nathanael's will was proved by Felix Thornley Cobbold and Caroline Alice Cobbold, his relict, of Tower St, Ipswich
