From 1997 to 2007 PJ was Operations Manager for Brighton Pride. She went freelance in events management between 2007 and 2013 and then took on an eco-friendly market stall and morphed into a successful net-zero shop and cafe until 2020. In her youth PJ was a keen rugby player.
