Harry inherited the baronetcy on the death of his brother, Sir John, in 1943.
Harry went to Canada and in 1881 was enumerated as Harry Jarvis (sic), a single English-born farmer in the township of Blandford, Oxford County, West Canada. He was next door to the family of his future wife, Sarah Ann (Nan) Danbrook. They had at least 4 daughters together; 2 sets of twins
The first twins, Aline and Rachel, were born in East Zorro Township on 5th May 1890. Rachel died 3 days later while Aline went on to emigrate and settle in England where she married a lawyer named Richard Hynman Andrew. The second twins, Ethel and Bertha, were born in North Himsford Township in the Parry Sound District on September 12 1897. They both stayed in Canada and married Canadians. Ethel married Le Roy Eades and died in Smooth Rock Falls in the Cochrane District. Le Roy became the sole executor of Harry's estate. Bertha married Stewart Edwin Nethercott. They lived in Iroquois Falls and Kearney and are buried beside each other in Huntsville in the Muskoka District.
Harry and Nan lived in North Himsworth Township, in the Parry Sound District from 1890. He was an agent for the Provincial Department of Lands and Forests in the lumbering business in Ontario. He retired to run a tourist business there. He died in North Himsworth Township which is now known as Callander, Ontario.
The baronetcy became extinct on his death in 1947.
