Born a LOWE in 1887. Became a STRODE when her Father inherited in 1897. Became a GRIGG when she married Harry GRIGG of Cann House,Tamerton Foliot and became a GRIGG-STRODE by deed poll on 11th October 1950 when she inherited following her Father's death.
Dorothea was Vice President of the Red Cross Society in Plymouth during WWII and organised a number of charitable functions. She was appointed a magistrate on May 20th 1921
She was married by Special Licence in St.Jude's Church, South Kensington, London on 1st July 1912 by Rev. R S Mills, a cousin of the groom.
Died in June 1974 and buried at St. Mary, Plympton
