In an article entitled 'All the King's horses and all the King's friends' in the DT on 23rd June 2023, Lady Sarah Keswick was mentioned thus:  In the London party scene of the early 1970s, a young aristocrat named Lady Sarah Ramsey, the daughter of the 16th Earl of Dalhousie, met an equally young Camilla Shand, and the two became firm friends.  Ramsey went on to marry Sir John Chippendale "Chips" Lindley Keswick, whose family control the powerful Hong Kong conglomerate, Jardine Matheson, and who was also chairman of Arsenal Football Club until 2020.  Sarah Keswick is clearly as much of a sporting fan as her husband: she and Camilla have been spotted together numerous times at Wimbledon - and no doubt that will only increase now that Keswick has been made one of the Queen's official Companions.  She was at Ascot on Wednesday and was photographed in the royal box chatting to both the King and Queen.  Keswick is an ardent lover of all things equestrian - she and Camilla are even said to have once owned a racehorse together - although she may have been invited more for her sense of humour than for her horsey knowledge.  Famously, she always makes Charles laugh, as evidenced from his guffawing photographs this week.
