Shirley's parents: Group Captain Alfred H Willetts born 1904 Southwark, London and died 21 7 1971 Mallorca, Spain and Nancy Hughes Whatley, born Brentford, Middlesex and died 3 1996 North East Hampshire. Group Captain Willetts was a POW in Germany 1943-1945. He retired from the RAF 24 1 1946 keeping his rank.
