Humphrey's parents were Herbert Rushton Sykes born 1870 in Stockport, Cheshire, died 15 3 1952 in Shropshire and Hon. Constance Harriet Georgina Skeffington born 15 5 1877 in London, died 24 2 1965. They had married 6 11 1905.
