Our picture, kindly provided from a family album by Amy Fletcher, shows Lady Grace Barry with her two sons, Hubert and Gerald.
Lady Grace Barry was awarded the MBE on 25th February 1919 for running a Red Cross Hospital from 1914 to 1919.
In addition to Hubert and Gerald Lady Grace had Esther Joyce (3/7/1906 London- 12/1988 Southend on Sea, died unmarried) and Nancy Elizabeth Capel Cure (31/7/1910-10/1/2006). She married, 22/10/1935 George Nigel Capel Cure (1908-2004) of Blake Hall, Ongar, Essex
