Luise and William had 5 children.
Luise married again, 16th August 1892 Spencer Compton Cavendish, 8th Duke of Devonshire. He was born 23rd July 1833 and died in France 24th March 1908, but there were no children. Her nickname was sometimes "The Double Duchess".
Luise died from a seizure at Sandown Races, Esher Place, Surrey. She is buried in Edensor, Derbyshire.
