Percy played cricket at Winchester and remained active in Cricket from 1871 onwards. In 1873 he played with his brother Walter for the Gentlemen of Lincolnshire against Staffordshire. In July 1880 he played for MCC against a Staffordshire team which included his brother-in-law, Arthur Howard Heath, who scored 92 runs. Percy had become a Solicitor in Bloonsbury, London in 1875.
