Martha Lytton Cobbold is Managing Director of Knebworth Estates and Lytton Enterprises Ltd. and Administrator of the Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust.  She is responsible for the management of Knebworth House, Park and Estates, a complex combination of a busy leisure management business, a private charitable trust, a conference and banqueting centre, a family estate with three active generations, forestry work, farms and residential and commercial rental properties.  She runs five different companies and budgets, personnel, legislation adherence, licensing, health and safety, sales, restoration, education, concerts, filming and community liaison.  She believes strongly in community involvement, responsibility and support and has worked with a variety of community and national groups and advisory boards supporting health, arts, education, heritage and leisure.

She is a dual US/UK citizen, a UK resident since 1993, is married to Henry with two adult children and has rehomed rescue Great Danes for three decades.  In addition to sitting on numerous boards and advisory committees, Martha is the President of the Historic Houses Association, and Vice-Chair of the Visit Herts destination management organisation for the county and a Deputy Lieutenant for Hertfordshire.
