Col Ralph's father was Ralph John Thomas Williamson born 26th November 1807 in Liverpool who died in Lancashire in 1886. His mother was Catherine Lane born in London in 1816 who died, also in Lancashire, in December 1862. They had 5 children and it is possible they married in the East Indies where their first child was born.
