Anne Amelia's father was William Charles Keppel, 4th Earl of Albermarle (14/5/1772-30/10/1849) and her mother was the Hon Elizabeth Southwell (11/1/1776-14/11/1817). They had married on 9th April 1792 and had 11 children.
Lady Anne Amelia Keppel was the God-daughter of Thomas William Coke and he was fifty years older when they married. Her more famous namesake, Edward VII's mistress, was the wife of George Keppel, son of the 7th Earl of Albermarle
