OccupationCalled to the Bar, Middle Temple in 1870. In 1880, he was returned to Parliament as one of two representatives for Cornwall East, a seat held until 1882. He later served as Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire from 1906 to 1915.

Biography and Notes

Thomas Agar-Robartes succeeded his father in the barony as 2nd Baron Robartes and entered the House of Lords in 1882. On 10 09 1899, he also succeeded his kinsman as sixth Viscount Clifden.

Thomas and his wife Mary had 10 children with one dying in infancy.
