Fanny's parents were John Theodore Louis Le Blanch, born 1827 in Prussia and of Beechfield, Cheshire, who died in 1885 in Conway, Wales, and Annie E Spencer born 1831 in Derbyshire and died 1906 in Droitwich, Worcestershire. They had married in Dudley, Staffordshire, in 1851.
John Theodore was a merchant and a ship owner.
