Obituary
Consultant in genitourinary medicine, Singleton Hospital, Swansea 1970-84 (qualified St Mary's 1953), died of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma on 14th February 1997. He was reponsible for the early development of HIV services in West Glamorgan and was much loved by his patients, for whom he worked tirelessly. A quiet gentle man, Ralph's main hobbies were tennis, fishing, bridge, and gardening. He was delighted to hear four days before his death that his elder son had gained his PhD. He leaves a wife, Stephane; a daughter; and two sons.
