Arthur and Mary Anne had six children: Mary Elizabeth born 1843; Edward born 10/6/1844; Helen Anna born 25/2/1845 in France; Sophia Chevallier born 1846, shown here; Florence Georgina born 24/7/1848 and Rosabella H born 1851 in France. The 1861 census shows Mary Anne Tompson as a widow living with her children at the home of her mother in Atcham, Shropshire. Mary Anne was the last of the Chevallier daughters to die.
