Biography and Notes

Paul was educated at the Salisbury Cathedral Choir School and Eton. He fought in WWII in Greece, Egypt, Tunisia and Italy. He was promoted Lt Colonel in 1941 in the Grenadier Guards and won his MC in 1943. He succeeded to the title on 4th July 1963 and was awarded an OBE in 1965. He organised Sir Winston Churchill's funeral that year and was Commander of the Honourable Artillery Company, Infantry Battalion between 1965 and 1968.
