John Mirehouse of Brownslade was admitted Lincoln's Inn on 15th September 1809 and called to the Bar 13th May 1817. He became a Common Pleader of the City of London in 1823 and a Common Serjeant in August 1833. He was JP and DL for the counties of Pembroke and Middlesex. He purchased the Angle estate in Pembrokeshire from the Kinner family early in the 19th century. His will dated 1/11/1844 was proved on 6th April 1850
He wrote Advowsons and the Law of Tithes.
His parents were John Mirehouse (c1753-c1822) and Mary Edwards (1765-1856).
