The 8th Earl was Robert (1939-2021) who married Joan Ivy Wall in 1960. They had 5 children: Denise 1961; Megan 1963; Tracy 1966; Vanessa 1969; and Alison 1971. The Earldom passed to Piers 1946 the son of Robert's brother George Aubrey Valletort (1907-1977) by his second wife, Una Pamela Rich 1907 who he married in 1944. Piers has 2 brothers, Christopher 1950 and George.
