Florence was the daughter of George Ambrose Fenning (1842 Elmsett) and Sarah Sheldrake (1842 Bramford). Sarah was descended from the Everett family who had mills at Caple St. Mary and farms at Rushmere.
In addition to Freda Florence, Florence Fenning had: Margaret (Madge) Louisa (1893-1930); Olive Irene (1895-1954); Doris Audrey (1900-1977); Alexandra Mabel (1904-1998); Alfred Douglas Fayers (1908-1992) and Angela Edith Noreen (1914-1984)
