Newspaper announcement: Sunday last died aged 48 universally respected Mr Joseph Dawson of Levington, farmer leaving a disconsolate widow and 7 small children to deplore the loss of an affectionate husband and parent.
It is thought that Joseph (1775- 1823) had a son, also Joseph who in turn had a son, Robert Joseph who attended Framlingham in 1867. (see Joseph's wife's entry!)
