Elder son of David Charles Scott-Moncrieff, CVO, TD, WS of Edinburgh, Scotland. In his speech to the Saltire Society in Edinburgh on 10th February 2022 John Scott Moncrieff mentioned that his grandfather had been killed at Gallipoli. Was this Brig Gen William Scott Moncrieff?
