#1376, Joanna Lilian THORNEWILL

Joanna attended St. Francis High School and Indiana University. She was a talented musician from a very early age. After meeting Taylor in 1985 she worked with him in developing Synergetics, Your Whole Life Firness Plan, to become a great North American success story.

Later Joanna read Oral History and Digital Humanities at the Louie B Nunn Center for Oral History in the University of Kentucky. She took up the production of oral history videos and soon founded Joanna Hay Productions which has produced a large number of perceptive oral histories, some for the Kentucky Civil Rights Hall of Fame project and another for the Kentucky Historical Society's Visitors' Experience.

Her success as a producer / director was confirmed late in 2016 when her film Kentucky Bourbon Tales: Distilling the Family Business was not only widely acclaimed but also admitted as culterally significant to the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
