Richard Todd was a Sergeant with the Straits Settlement Volunteer Force. His number was 12820 and he was taken prisoner on 15th February 1942 and kept in a PoW camp in Thailand until liberated on 2nd September 1945. At that time his next of kin was his mother, Mrs C M Todd.
