Katharine was previously married to Colonel Charles Grantley Campbell Norton who served in the Ottoman Gendarmerie under Baker Pacha, but they divorced in 1879. The Colonel was a first cousin of the 5th Baron.
Katharine and the 5th Baron had 3 daughters, Joan Mary Conyers (1879-22/7/1942); Eleanour Trehane who died 16/3/1951 and Katharine Edith Carlotta who died 9/2/1961 and a son who died at birth in 1889 in addition to the 6th baron shown.
