Nora Lossman is the only daughter of Maj-Gen Dr Arthur Lossman (died 1972) and Maria (nee Novicka) (died 1983) of Tallinn, Estonia. 1956-83.
Between 1992 and 1998, Nora Lossman successfully claimed restitution of her family's 100 hectare farm, Valtu Estate in Estonia, now operated by her son through two farming companies, AS Valtu-Viva and OU Valtu Talu. She was awarded the MBE in 1979.

Nora's parents were Arta Alexander Lossman born 5th Oct. 1877 in Tallin, Estonia who died 1st Aug. 1972 and is buried in Tallin and Maria Novitskaja born 28th Jan. 1899 in Moglen who died in London in 1984.
