Amelie's previous married names were Roder and Corleis. Arthur had a stepson son Jurgen Corleis who wrote a book 'Always on the other Side'. Amelie and Arthur adopted twins, one of whom is Angela Gay Laughton who says that they were the most wonderful parents.
