Does not appear as one of our 37 / 48 listed war dead. Forces War Record shows him as Private (27328) 6th. Somerset Light Infantry (Prince Albert's) formerly the East Sussex Regiment. This was thought to be true when written but subsequent research shows that he IS recorded on our listing in 'King & Country' (April 2022)
