In 1932 Lewis' wedding was announced: VALLE-POPE - STRODE At the Registry Office, Paddington,(quietly), Edward Lewis Valle-Pope, son of the late Edward Valle-Pope MA Cantab., and Mrs Webber, widow of the late Admiral Webber, of 48 Leinster Gardens, W2, to Eileen Ruth Admonition, youngest daughter of Major and Mrs Strode of Newnham Park, Plympton. Later in life Lewis married Ethne and they lived in Ireland. He was buried in Cork, Ireland
