William Montagu fathered a son outside of marriage in 1850 to Sarah Maria Morris and when she was eight months pregnant, the Montagu family married her off to Samuel Palmer on 4th March 1850.
William and Luise had five children, although some researchers claim there were six.
William Montagu is buried in New Zealand. There is an inscription in a New Zealand church showing some of his history.
Kimbolton Castle, originally in Huntingdonshire is now in part of Cambridgeshire.
Katherine of Aragon was imprisoned by King Henry V111 in Kimbolton Castle and she died there in 1538. The Montagu family bought the castle in the early 1600s and it remained a family home until it was sold in 1950, twhen it then became a school.
