Sir James' 3rd wife. Sophia was the daughter of James Pierce-Evans and had previously been married to Elliott Lynn. Whilst married to Sir James she was widely known as Mary, Lady Heath, the Irish aviatrix. She was also a member of the Womens Advisory Committee at the 1928 Olympics which was when women were fighting to be allowed to take part.
After her marriage to Sir James Heath was dissolved, Sophie re-married. There were no children born to Sir James and Sophie.
