Reginald, known as Reggie, was educated at Lancing 1881-86 and matriculated at Keble College, Oxford on 19th October 1886 gaining a third class degree in Theology in 1890 proceeding to BA in 1891 and MA in 1894. He was a student at Cuddesdon Theological College, 1891-2 and was ordained Deacon at Exeter, 1892, Priest 1893 and curate of Clyst St. George under his father 1894-97. Vicar of Clifton Hampden, Oxon, 1898-1923 (presented by Henry Lord Aldenham), Canon of St. Albans.
