Major Jocelyn's parents were Sir Edward Lingard Lucas 3rd Bt born 15 2 1860 and died 3 8 1936 in Westminster, London and Mary Helen Chance born 1863, died 24 4 1915. They had married on 16 1 1886 and had two children. Sir Edward married twice more.
There were no children from his marriage to Thelma Grace Arbuthnot.
