1st and last Viscount Portal. His father was Sir William Whyndham Portal 2nd Bt. who was born 12th April 1850 and died 30th September 1931. His mother was Florence Elizabeth mary Glyn CBE who was born in 1858 and died 30th December 1931. They had married on 23rd June 1880 and had 4 children.
