Rev. Richard's father was also the Rev. Richard (died 1805) and his mother was Lucy Byrd heiress of Milford Hall in Staffordshire. They had married I think in 1749. Richard replaced Milford Hall with a Georgian style house. It was later altered and extended by his son (1772-1843) in 1817
