They married July 1869 at St Ethelburga in the City of London.

Charles Pope was the son of John Pope born 1783 Biggleswade and died 1858 Biggleswade, and Ann Minks born 8 5 1784 Hertfordshire and died 1862 Biggleswade. They married 16 7 1804 Biggleswade.

Marion Harriette Anna Bertha Valle was the daughter of Philip Valle born 1804 London and died 1869 Kensington, London and Sarah de Fountain born 1811, Africa and died 1882 Kensington, London. They married 7 10 1827 St Helena. On Philip's Probate, it shows he was an Italian Warehouseman. On some of the children's christening records, it shows they were born on the Isle of St Helena. On a census record, one entry states St Helena is in Lancashire (St. Helens) - this was after the form was filled in.
