Andrew went to Turkey for a year as a child in the 1960s. He is a journalist who has been based in Turkey since 1989. His reporting has appeared in The Economist, Time, The Daily Telegraph, The Times of London and CNN. He met Caroline whilst in Turkey for his PhD and is the Author of Turkey - What Everyone Needs to Know.
