Nigel's first marriage was to Elizabeth (Liz) in about 1960. They had 4 children: Timothy (known as Peter) in 1961 followed by Richard, Catherine and Sarah (who died at about 9 months). In about 1969 he married secondly and went to Australia the following year. Peter and his wife Marion have a daughter Vicky (1986) and a son Alexander (1994). Vicky has a daughter Eva with a sibling on the way (2021).
