Anne's father was Alan George Marjoribanks of Midlothian, Scotland. He was in the Indian Police and was the officer instructed to arrest Gandhi. (Perhaps he was even Head of the Indian Police?) He died of a heart attack aged 56. Anne's mother was from Edinburgh.
Anne Marjoribanks married again 1965 Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire - Colin A Eldin-Taylor.
