Cecelia was the second daughter of Capt. Henry Unett (1842-1916)(3rd Hussars) whose family seat was Huntingdon Hall in Yorkshire. She had an older sister, Caroline (born 1874; married Mcgowan 1928) and a younger brother, William (born 1883). Cecelia inherited a vast fortune from Sir Charles.
