Thomas was baptised together with his twin brother on 23 03 1841 in Ipswich.
On the death of his father when Thomas was only fourteen, Christchurch passed to him. He continued to live there with his mother until going on to attend Christ Church, Oxford where he was matriculated on 16 06 1859. He later became Justice of the Peace for Suffolk.
Father and son died on consecutive days. Thomas Neale on 11th October and his son, Peter James on 12th. They were buried together in Tuddenham Churchyard on 16 10 1890.
