Nellie was widowed in 1886. In 1891 she is living with her daughter, Winifred in Southport, Lancashire. By 1901 she and her 2 daughters are living with her brother Maurice. In 1911 she is still with brother Maurice and his family but he has retired from Selby Abbey due to ill health and is living in St Leonards, Sussex.
