William was 'of Upper Clapton, Middlesex' and his father was John Bracey born 1772 in Great Yarmouth. William's mother was Ann Paget born 1783 in Yarmouth and died there in1824. They had married 25th March 1800 in Great Yarmouth and had 12 children.
William is buried in the beautiful St. Stephen's Cemetery, Parnell, New Zealand.
