The 1881 census shows her living with her uncle, Rev. Thomas Preston at The Vicarage, Swaffham Prior, Cambridgeshire but in the same year she exhibited at The Ipswich Art Club from Bramford, Ipswich. She had been a member of the club in 1875/76 and exhibited between 1881 and 1883. The 1901 census shows her living at Stokerby, Cobbold Rd, Felixstowe. She died unmarried.
