#15230, Spencer DAWSON

Our picture shows Spencer as a boy.  He had a son, Spencer Williams Dawson who also attended Framlingham School S1913-1918.  He in turn had a son, Robert Guy Spencer who also went to Framlingham s1944-1952.

Robert Guy Spencer Dawson : played hockey for Suffolk, Ipswich, Norfolk, Norwich Grasshoppers and Southgate. Played cricket for Ipswich and East Suffolk and Norwich Wanderers and has been a member of the MCC since 1965. He was commissioned into Suffolk Regiment and served in 1st Battalion in Cyprus 1956/7. Director of Balding and Mansell, fine art printers, working extensively with museums and galleries throughout the USA and Europe.  Robert Guy Spencer Dawson died on February 21st 2013.  He had married Alexandra and was father to Vanessa and Elizabeth and grandfather to Lucy and Anna.

In addition to Spencer Williams, Spencer Dawson had 3 more sons all of whom went to Framlingham: Humphrey Henry, David Paget and Roland Chevallier.
